Moving Models

Deployment: The objective for this scenario is for each side to claim control of buildings by 'planting the flag' in them. The Dark eldar have three squads of warriors strung out to hold the rubble on the left and warehouse on the right, with the archon behind the tower in the middle of their line. The Orks have a skorcha and mob of burna boyz behind the pipe on the right. On the left they have some slugga boyz and a dreadnought waiting behind the refinery. The refinery itself is held by shoota boyz on the upper floors and grotz scurrying below. Finally they have two more mobz of sluggas and the warboss ready to surge forwards in the centre.  Ork Turn 1: The skorcha zooms past the open gap to the safety of the capitol building, with burna boyz following close behind. Deployment: The City of York Militia has successfully snuck around the government position in this village to attack them from the rear. Leo leads his half section on the left towards the garden wall,  whilst Mike takes his along the hedgerow on the right. With their position untenable the best the Catterick Garrison can do is pull back and try to regroup, to win at least one of their models must escape across their board edge. * Turn 1: Pte Foggarty and Frost are dutifully guarding the road and keeping their eyes towards the enemy lines. They are startled by the sound of bullets whizzing past their ears and turn to see the rebels bearing down on them from the rear.  Both dive for cover behind the houses.  Turn 2: Mike and George dash across a gap in the hedgerow, but Cpl Price is alert to the danger and has swung his machinegun team around. Deployment and Turn 1: In late 1943 the Wehrmacht launch a local counterattack to recapture the village of Murpheesgrad. The Germans have 1 platoon advancing through the woods on the right, while the rest of the company cautiously march across the open ground in the middle. On their left they have an armoured car and 2 panzer III's advancing up the road. The soviet's occupy the village with 2 platoons and a MMG section, and have an SMG platoon in reserve. They also have a 45mm anti tank gun on the hill to the right. The first shot rings out as the soviet gun engages the armoured car, failing to achieve any hits before it is pulverized by return fire from the panzers. *  Turn 2: The soviet MMG opens up to pin down the German force in the woods, whilst the infantry desperately break out the shovels and attempt to entrench in the face of the enemies advance.  Turn 3: The German mortars zero in on the village and together with the panzers unleash a barrage to suppress the Russians...

Deployment: The Carolingians have enlisted a veteran soldier of the wilderness to help them track down and eliminate the Rus protected green wizard ( princess ). Victory will go to the side that can eliminate the others special character, or cripple the enemies warband through victory points. The Carolingians have a powerful unit of mounted hearthguard on their left, archers in the ruins on the right, and the soldier with two small squads of warriors in between. The Rus are arrayed in a dense phalanx to protect their patron.  Turn 1: The Carolingian infantry tentatively manoeuvre forward whilst their horsemen secure the hill on the flank.  Carolingian Turn 2: The Frankish archers advance to take a potshot at the Rus levy, but only one is slain.
