Moving Models

Deployment: The Seleucids are defending this mountain pass with two mixed commands, each containing pikemen and cataphracts led by a brilliant general. They also have a flank march of elephants supported by thyreophoroi racing to the field. The Macedonians have a cavalry command on the left, pikemen in the center, and a mixed command of pike, cavalry and medium infantry led by their strategist on right.  Turn 1: The Tarentine light horse race around the hill to disrupt the Seleucid line, whilst the rest of the cavalry move into the center. On the right the long columns of pike and cavalry squeeze through the gap between the forest and gulley. The Seleucid's advance carefully around the brush, pushing their cataphracts into the center.  Turn 2: The Macedonian pikemen on the right deploy from column to line screened by their cavalry. The Thracian medium infantry advance to the edge of the woods, but dare not leave the shelter of the trees under the threatening watch of the Seleu...

Turn 1: In this scenario the Saxons are attempting to escort their wagons across the board, whilst protecting them from the raiding Vikings. The warlord and a unit of archers push on ahead. A unit of warriors and Breton mercenaries guard the right flank, whilst more warriors and spear levy guard the wagons to the rear. The Vikings have weighted their deployment around the ruins on the right, with only a small unit of warriors guarding the gap beyond the marsh on the left.  Turn 2: The Vikings force march their warriors around to the left, whilst keeping their hearth guard to the rear and safely out of bow range. The Saxons continue to plod forward in unison alongside the wagons. The archers dash ahead and get off a volley downing three Bondi behind the marsh, whilst the Bretons race up and fruitlessly lob javelins into the ruin.  Anglo Saxon Turn 3: The Bondi continue to advance, luring the Bretons to smash hastily into them. Deployment: This is a firesweep scenario with both sides trying to claim the majority of ruined buildings in the city. The space marines have their devastators set up with good fields of fire atop the silos, with assault marines ready to spring forward at the base. Three tactical squads with an attached captain make up the front line, whilst the landspeeder and whirlwind are to the rear and ready to support. The scouts have infiltrated forwards to claim the warehouse. The entire alpha legion force has elected to infiltrate. One havoc squad take the far corner to line up a shot on the whirlwind, and the second takes the base of the tower, with a chaos marine squad between the tower and the warehouse. The chaos lord and lieutenant each lead a gang of cultists, one deployed in the factory and the second between the factory and tower.  Alpha Legion Turn 1: The havocs fire out of nowhere and easily dispatch the whirlwind, allowing the rest of the legion to advance.  Space Marine Tu...
