Moving Models

Deployment: In this 'Thunder Run' scenario the Dark Eldar are attempting to smash their way through the Alpha Legion forces and march off the far board edge. They have three squads of warriors and their archon with a webway portal deployed behind the tower and capitol buildings. The alpha legion infiltrate havoc squads into each corner in the factory and archive. They also have two groups of cultists, one behind the factory and the other occupying the fountain.   Both sides unleash a preliminary bombardment, showering the battlefield in shrapnel. A warrior is slain and one dark eldar squad starts the game pinned.  Dark Eldar Turn 1: The warriors and archon move and fleet their way as far forward as possible, with one squad moving into the factory and the other into the capitol Alpha Legion Turn 1: The havocs pepper the advancing warriors with heavy bolters and missile launchers, but the dense cover largely protects the xenos. A cultist squad advances through the fountain....

Setup: The British are running a convoy through the Mediterranean to their base at Alexandria. In this alternate history scenario the Vichy French have committed strong forces to stopping them. The main fleet has sortied from Toulon whilst the bases at Tunis and Bizerte are brimming with aircraft.  Day 1 Morning: The RAF launch an airstrike from Malta with a strong force of Hudson and Beaufighter bombers escorted by Hurricane fighter. The French send up some Dewoitine interceptors but they can do little against such an overwhelming wave and the base at Bizerte is heavily damaged. The French send out search planes, but fail to spot the convoy The British reveal a mighty escort force made up of four aircraft carriers! They conduct a huge bombing raid to try and knock Bizerte out of the action. The Dewoitine's get the best of the dogfight and shoot down many Fulmar fighters.
