Dark Eldar vs White Scars
Deployment: An ancient dark eldar archon, present at the disappearance of the primarch Jaghatai Khan, has been identified skulking in the ruins of an imperial world. The white scars are honor bound to hunt this monster down. In this Assasination mission the astartes deploy two bike squads with attached attack bikes and a landspeeder armed with a heavy flamer and multi-melta. The rest of their force starts in reserve. Hearing the rumble of bikes approaching, the two squads of dark eldar warriors have scant time to form a perimeter in the ruined factory, whilst the archon fumbles to activate the webway portal and bring on his own relief force. 
White Scars Turn 1: The first squad of bikes race forward alongside the landspeeder, as the second swerves into the capitol building. Together their bolter fire swiftly scythes through the warriors on the north wall, opening a path to the archon.
Dark Eldar Turn 1: After activating the portal the archon surges gleefully into the space marines in a drug fueled whirr, whilst the mandrakes step out of the shadows to support his attack. Before they know what's hit them three astartes are torn apart.
White Scars Turn 2: Another landspeeder arrives and catches the remaining warriors in a crossfire of heavy flamer and assault cannon, routing the corrupted and cowardly eldar.
But the archon makes short work of the rest of his enemies, leaving a sole attack bike to gun its engines and retreat, with the mandrakes in hot pursuit.
Dark Eldar Turn 2: Taking another draught of his combat drugs, the archon delights in the stunned astartes faces, as he leaps atop the capitol building and starts carving through them. Laughing sadistically as their heavily armored bodies crunch into the rubble below.
White Scars Turn 3: The veteran space marines roar in from the boards edge. Their furious charge briefly crushing the archon into the wall, shorting out his impervious shadowfield. Recovering quickly he furiously hacks apart more astartes and the first biker squad beat a hasty retreat.
The mandrakes chase down and dispatch their quarry.
Whilst the second landspeeder glides over the factory. Culling three wyches with its assault cannon and heavy bolter, putting the squad to flight.
The wyches in the open make up for lost time, clambering up the ruin alongside a pack of warp beast's galloping out of the webway gate. With his force field cut out and invigorated by fear, the archon manically slaughters the enemy before his minions can land a blow!
Barking orders and throwing his followers bodies between him and danger, the archon retreats to the upper floors.
White Scars Turn 4: The stormseer arrives at precisely the right moment. Shrouding himself in psychic energy, he casts a powerful spell that shakes the hearts of all the foul xenos present, and sends the wyches and mandrakes fleeing in terror! A landspeeder and the rallying bikers pour bolter and assault cannon fire into the warp beasts, clearing a path to the archon.
Gunning his engines the stormseer charges the archon. The ancient eldar is a blur of panicked movement, his agoniser aimed in a decapitating strike, but parried at the last moment by the space marine!*
Run through to the hilt, the archon uncomprehendingly stares, before his limp form slides off the stormseer's blade and falls in ruin to the ground below.
Not stopping for a moment, the stormseer rides on to cut down and scatter an entire squad of fleeing wyches!
Dark Eldar Turn 4: Though the archon is dead, the surviving dark eldar fight on. Knowing that whoever can claim the credit for driving off the human vermin may rise to the now-vacant position at the head of the Kabal. The warriors dash up to the rooftop and their leader takes aim with his blaster, detonating the landspeeder's engine with a lethal beam of energy.
Not to be outdone, the surviving succubus charges headlong up the capitol steps supported by her wyches. Her agoniser wraps around the hated psychics neck, and she pulls his head clean off! She stoops over the headless body as it's heart beat fades, drinking in the death pangs of this mighty soul.
White Scars Turn 5: Their mission complete, the white scars begin to pullback. But the death of their stormseer cannot go unavenged. The remaining bikes and landspeeder screen themselves behind the capitol from the rest of the dark eldar host, whilst gunning down the wyches cavorting over their dead leaders body.
Dark Eldar Turn 5: The talos at last lumbers out of the webway, but neither it nor the warriors can bring their weapons to bear on the space marines, instead rushing headlong towards them.
White Scars Turn 6: Both the landspeeder and bikes turbo boost out of melee range and towards safety.
Dark Eldar Turn 6: The splinter cannons and talos's sting accurately track their targets, showering the astartes in razor sharp splinters. But they are saved by their power armor, which turns the shards that find their mark. Riding on to safety, white scars win!**
* This was a pivotal moment that decided the game. The archon struck first and scored three hits, needing two 4+ results to wound to kill the stormseer. Had he succeeded its hard to see how the white scars could have completed their assassination mission.
** A decisive last throw of the dice. The dark eldar forced the marine bikers to make two 3+ saves, both passed. With just one more casualty the white scars would lose out on a whopping 476 victory points, making the game a draw.
